We must not forget about this.
On February 26, 2000, Dan Henderson accomplished one of the greatest work feats in MMA history.
As a middleweight, he defeated heavyweight Antonio Nogueira, light heavyweight Renato Sobral, light heavyweight Gilbert Yvel in one night and won the Rings Grand Prix. All three opponents were 10-20 kg larger than Hendo, and Nogueira - by as much as 22. In the semi-finals and finals, he fought with a torn knee, and the break between these fights was only 20 minutes. Imagine, after a grueling 15-minute fight with a top-class heavyweight, in which you tore the ligaments in your knee, 20 minutes later you have to go back to fight and fight again with an opponent much larger than you.
